We are a welcoming, English-speaking, multi-cultural Roman Catholic faith community. On the initiative of a Polish student, Tytus, and a Dutch layperson, Johannes, we started in 2003 as a small community in Utrecht. Two years later His Eminence, Cardinal Simonis, Archbishop Emeritus of Utrecht, assigned us to the City Parish of Utrecht, which now is called Salvator Cathedral Parish ('Cathedrale Salvatorparochie') . Ever since, we celebrate the Holy Mass in English at St. Augustine's Church.
This website will provide you with information regarding mass schedule, community activities, events, and contact details. We also have a newsletter which keeps you posted about upcoming events, activities, or (important) changes. As such, we strongly recommend and invite you to subscribe to this newsletter. Just send an email to the English Mass Team and you will be registered. Of course, you can de-register any time easily.
Our parish is young and dynamic, enriched by the many different cultures who come together each week, wishing to grow in meeting the challenges of living our lives as Christians today. We are committed not only to listen to God's word but to live out the Gospel in our daily lives. In our diversity we are unified to build up each other and the Reign of God on earth through the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and participation in the sacraments.
